11-year-old reported missing from Kansas City’s Northland is found safe: Police

Update: Police said late Thursday night that the 11-year-old was found safe.

Kansas City police were asking the public for help Thursday night to locate an 11-year-old boy reported missing from the Northland.

Kenneth McClee was last seen around 5 p.m. near Interstate 35 and Northeast Chouteau Trafficway, according to police. He left his residence on foot headed in an unknown direction, police said.

Police said McClee’s family is worried for his well-being.

McClee is described as a Black male, roughly 5-foot-5 and 155 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Police said he was wearing a red shirt and black shorts.

Police were asking anyone with information concerning McClee’s whereabouts to call 816-234-5111.
