Pedestrian struck, killed by driver in Johnson County Friday night. Police investigate
The Olathe Police Department is investigating a Friday evening crash that left a pedestrian dead.
The pedestrian, a 28-year-old woman, was found unresponsive near East Kansas City Road and North Central Street, near Olathe Two Trails Park around 8:20 p.m.
The woman was transported to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead.
The driver remained on scene, police say.
No further details of the crash have been provided by police. The incident remains under investigation.
