Police find missing 12-year-olds last seen overnight Tuesday in Kansas City

Update: Police in an email at 3:07 p.m. Tuesday said the children had been found safe.

Kansas City police are asking for help finding two children last seen overnight Tuesday.

Jaebrion Byers and Dejah Johnson, both 12, were last seen around 1 a.m. in the area of East 51st Street and Park Avenue.

Dejah was last seen wearing a long black wig, gray “Chuckie” shirt with red stripes on the sleeves, black biker shorts, slides and a pink backback with black straps and blue and white flowers. She is 5 feet and 5 inches tall and weighs around 100 pounds.

Jaebrion was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans, black socks and tan Yeezy slides. He is 5 feet and 9 inches tall and weighs around 160 pounds.
