How many power outages reported after Monday storm in Kansas City? Here’s the latest
As thunder and rain rolled through the Kansas City metro area Monday morning, more than 7,400 Evergy customers were without power.
As of 10:00 a.m., more than 1,000 of those outages were in Kansas and 6,400 were in Missouri, according to the utility company’s outage map.
An Evergy spokesperson said there should be no major delays restoring power during and after Monday’s storm.
On July 14, a severe thunderstorm left more than 150,000 Evergy customers without power. Some of those customers were without power for days.
