KBI says Garden City woman found safe in Liberal after statewide Silver Alert
Update: KBI said that Carolyn Koentopp was found safe Sunday in Liberal, Kansas and is being reunited with family.
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation issued a statewide Silver Alert for a missing Garden City woman.
Carolyn Koentopp, 68, was last seen Friday around 5 a.m. at St. Catherine Hospital at 401 E. Spruce St. in Garden City wearing a light blue shirt and jeans.
She is believed to be driving a 2022 black Jeep Gladiator and may be with a small brown dog.
Koentopp is about 5 feet and 2 inches tall and weighs around 100 pounds. She has brown and grey hair and green eyes.
She may be experiencing memory loss or confusion.
Anyone who sees Koentopp or knows of her whereabouts should call 911 immediately or call the Garden City Police Department at 620-276-1300.
