Olathe police searching for missing 74-year-old thought to be traveling east in SUV

Olathe police have issued a Silver Alert for a 74-year-old believed to be traveling east toward South Carolina.

George Sewell went missing from the 1400 block of E. 123rd St. Friday.

He is 6-foot-2, weighs 200 pounds and has white hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a green army veteran hat, light blue shirt, jeans and black shoes.

Police believe he is operating a black 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander with South Carolina handicap tag 280220W.
