Olathe fatal crash leads to street closures near Greenwood and Pflumm Road Saturday night
Update: Police on Monday identified the person killed in the crash as 18-year-old Quentin Blumer of Olathe.
Police are investigating after a crash between vehicles Saturday left one person dead and closed an Olathe street near Greenwood and Pflumm Road.
Authorities are warning people to avoid the area due to traffic.
Officers reported a fatality crash around 6:07 p.m., according to the Olathe Police Department’s social media.
Following the crash, police closed 151st Street in both directions between Greenwood Street and Pflumm Road.
By 9:27 p.m. Olathe police reopened 151st Street, according to the department’s social media.
A spokesperson for the department did not immediately respond to requests for information regarding the crash.
