One dead after two-vehicle crash in Kansas City on Tuesday afternoon: Police
One person died Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash on Emanuel Cleaver II Boulevard in Kansas City, according to police.
Kansas City police officers were dispatched around 4:40 p.m. to Cleaver II and East 39th Street on a reported crash. One driver was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead after arriving there, police said.
Investigators found that the driver of a red Honda CRV experienced a medical episode while operating the vehicle. She struck another vehicle before going off-road and hitting a light pole, according to police.
Further information about the crash was not immediately disclosed by police.
