Police seek missing woman in Kansas City

Kansas City police are looking for a 45-year-old woman who came to Kansas City on vacation with her family but who disappeared early Wednesday.

Courtenay Whalen was last seen about 1 a.m. near 12th and Wyandotte streets, police said. She was walking alone and headed north.

Whalen is white, 5 feet 5 inches and about 120 pounds, police said. She has brown hair with blonde and red highlights. She was wearing black leggings and a one-shouldered black and gold blouse.

Police asked anyone with information to call 911.
