Officers responded to the two-vehicle crash just before 12:30 p.m. in the area of Meyer Boulevard and Troost Avenue.

Wilbur Douglas, 82, was traveling north on Troost in a Toyota Corolla when he failed to stop at a red light and crashed into a Honda Civic, police said.
