Kansas City police car involved in accident

A Kansas City police car was involved in an accident Tuesday night near 63rd Street and Troost Avenue.

The police car and at least one other vehicle collided at the intersection about 9 p.m., according to police. The officer driving the car was not injured.

The driver of another vehicle was transported to a hospital with injuries that police said were not life-threatening.
