K-10 pavement project to cause major delays for commuters
A pavement project on Kansas 10 in Johnson County will likely cause major headaches for drivers during rush hours.
The project will force the closure of the left lane of eastbound K-10 from Ridgeview Road to Interstate 435 beginning at 10 p.m. Thursday.
Weather permitting, the lane will reopen at 10 p.m. July 26.
Crews will install new pavement adjacent to the eastbound K-10 bridge over Renner Boulevard. The newly constructed ramp from eastbound K-10 to northbound and westbound I-435 will remain open.
Kansas transportation officials are warning drivers to expect major delays during peak commute times.
