Kansas City police find 17-year-old girl last seen jumping into an Uber to KCK

Update: Kansas City police have safely located Michaela Wilson as of Thursday afternoon.

Police were seeking the public’s help to locate a missing 17-year-old girl last seen in north Kansas City.

Michaela Wilson was seen getting into an Uber in the area of 7036 Waukomis Drive, before she disappeared. The vehicle was heading toward Kansas City, Kansas, according to Capt. Leslie Foreman, a spokeswoman for the Kansas City Police Department.

The teen wore a gray sweater and blue jeans, said Foreman.

Wilson has brown eyes and brown hair. She stands 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts was able to contact Kansas City police at 816-234-5111.
