Planning to ride KC’s streetcar or bus over the holidays? Check the schedule before you go

As the holidays approach, Kansas City’s streetcar and RideKC bus system will be operating on a different schedule during certain days around Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Here’s what you need to know before you ride:

Streetcar holiday hours

• Saturday, December 24: 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
• Sunday, December 25: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. (Christmas Day)
• Monday, December 26: 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. (one hour late start & end)
• Saturday, December 31: 7:00 a.m. – 1:00 a.m. (regular service hours)
• Sunday, January 1, 2023: 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. (New Year’s Day)

RideKC holiday hours

Christmas Day and New Years Day, which both fall on Sundays, and Monday, Dec. 26 and Monday, Jan. 2 will follow normal Sunday/holiday hours.

Christmas Eve and New Years Eve, which fall on Saturdays, will both follow regular Saturday hours.

RideKC’s regional call center and administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Dec. 26 and Monday, Jan. 2.
