A GoFundMe has been launched to help the family of an Overland Park man allegedly hit by a drunk driver while riding his bicycle.

Antonio Zabala suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a drunk driver while cycling on the evening of Nov. 4, according to Alisia Perez, the organizer of the fundraiser.

According to his GoFundMe page, Zabala’s brain hemorrhaged following the collision. He is currently on life support, with his family by his side.

“If you were fortunate enough to meet Antonio then you know how adored, strong and adventurous he is,” Perez said in a statement.

Friends and family remember Zabala for his playful jokes and ability to connect with others, according to the fundraiser.

Money from the fundraiser will go toward helping Zabala and his family.

As of Wednesday, the GoFundMe has raised $70.
