Man killed in mower accident in Lenexa

A man riding a standing lawnmower was struck by a car and killed Saturday morning in Lenexa.

Police say the mower was traveling against traffic on Prairie Star Parkway when the accident occurred about 11 a.m. near Ridgeview Road.

The victim died at the scene.
