Kansas Highway Patrol investigating after pedestrian struck and killed in Lenexa
A pedestrian was hit and killed Thursday morning on Interstate 35 in Lenexa, authorities said.
Just before 2 a.m., a car traveling southbound on I-35 near College Boulevard hit the pedestrian, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead. The driver was taken to the hospital, but medical crews said they were in stable condition.
The Kansas Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
