Missing Kansas City man with traumatic brain injury has been found safe: police

Update: Steven H. Kump of Kansas City has been found and is safe, a police spokesman said Monday.

Authorities issued a missing and endangered person alert Sunday for a 58-year-old man with a traumatic brain injury in Kansas City.

Steven H. Kump was last seen around 7:45 a.m. Sunday leaving the area of 27th Street and Quincy Avenue, Kansas City police said.

He is 6’3” and weighs 170 pounds. Kump was last seen wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.

Because of his brain injury, Kump needs a walker to move.

Police ask anyone who locates him to call 911 immediately.
