Kansas City police have found missing 13-year-old boy last seen near the Landing Mall

Update: 13-year-old Zayvion Henderson has been located by authorities.

Kansas City police were asking for the public’s help in finding a 13-year-old boy who has been missing since Friday.

Zayvion Henderson, 13, was last seen at about 5:00 p.m. near the Landing Mall at 1240 East Meyer Boulevard, according to Officer Donna Drake, a spokeswoman with the department.

Authorities said he was wearing black shorts and purple Nike shoes. Henderson was also wearing his blue Kauffman Academy sweater.

He is 5-foot-7 and weighs about 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Officers were requesting that anyone with information regarding Henderson’s location contact 911 or the Kansas City Police Department Juvenile Section at 816-234-5150.
