Update: All lanes of westbound Interstate 70 reopened shortly after 1 p.m., according to an alert from Kansas City Scout.

All westbound lanes of Intestate 70 in Kansas City, Kansas, were shut down Thursday morning after debris spilled across the highway during a crash near Seventh Street Trafficway, according to a traffic alert from the Kansas City Scout traffic management system.

The crash occurred about 10:20 a.m. and the interstate was shut down while crews cleaned up the debris.
