An Amber Alert has been issued for 12-year-old Natonja Holmes who was last seen being led by the arm away from a St. Louis area middle school to an awaiting minivan, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Natonja was abducted about 2:30 p.m. Monday from the Ferguson Middle School at 701 January Avenue in Ferguson, Missouri.

Natonja is a Black girl with black braided hair and brown eyes. She is 4-feet, 7-inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds. She was wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans, according to the alert issued late Tuesday.

She was last seen with two women. A complete description of two was not available, although both were described as Black women — one with long braids and wearing a white T-shirt and red shorts and the other wearing a pink hat and turquoise leggings, according to the highway patrol.

The woman in the pink hat was seen guiding Natonja by the arm to a blue 2008 to 2010 Kia Sedona minivan. The vehicle might have been a Dodge minivan, according to the alert. The vehicle did not have license plates.

Further details of the missing girl were not available.
