Alcohol played a factor in Gardner boat crash that injured two, officials say
A person was arrested following a boat crash Sunday in Gardner, police said.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash in which the boat struck rocks at the shore near Gardner Lake Dam at 152nd Street and Gardner Road, according to Daneeka Marshall-Oquendo, a spokeswoman for the city.
Two people were injured and taken to a hospital. One person was arrested but has not been charged, Marshall-Oquendo said.
The investigation is ongoing.
