Silver alert issued for missing Lee’s Summit man
Police are seeking help in finding a 70-year-old Lee’s Summit man who walked away from his home Thursday night.
Dennis Johnston, who has been diagnosed with dementia, left his home in the 3600 block of Blue Jacket Drive sometime Thursday night.
He was last seen by a passerby about 4 a.m. walking near Truman Medical Lakewood in the 7900 block of Lee’s Summit Road in Kansas City. The medical center is about a mile from his house.
Police, however, were unable to find him.
Johnston is a white male, about 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds. He has silver hair and was last seen wearing a navy blue short-sleeved shirt and pajama pants. He had no shoes.
