Missing, endangered 63-year-old Kansas City woman found safe; Silver Alert canceled

A 63-year-old Kansas City woman who went missing early Friday has been found and is safe, a police spokeswoman said.

The Silver Alert for Demetria L. Milligan has been canceled, said Capt. Leslie Foreman, a spokeswoman for the Kansas City Police Department.

Milligan, who has dementia and was without her medicine, disappeared about 3 a.m. Friday. Shortly before 8 a.m., Foreman said in an email that Milligan had been found.
