Kansas City police locate 72-year-old woman with dementia reported missing Wednesday

Update: Denise Camerillo was located and is safe, Kansas City police said shortly before 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The Kansas City Police Department is looking for a 72-year-old woman diagnosed with dementia who was last seen Wednesday morning.

Denise Camerillo was last seen around 10 a.m. near the 6800 block of Bellefontaine Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri, police said Wednesday afternoon.

Camerillo is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds, police said. She has brown eyes and wears a black bob-style wig. She was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and blue sandals.
