The dog bit the man on the leg about 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Roe Park at 104th Street and Roe Avenue, but the man left to get medical help before exchanging information with the woman walking the dog.
Police said the woman was in her mid-50s or early 60s. She had blond hair and wore a red shirt.
She was walking two short-haired dogs on long nylon leashes. One dog was brown and the other was black.
