Crash involving at least 6 vehicles temporarily closes I-70 into downtown Kansas City

The multi-vehicle collision occurred occurred shortly after 8:30 a.m. along I-70 near the Paseo Boulevard, according to Kansas City Scout. The crash closed all lanes of the heavily traveled highway into downtown Kansas City.

There were no reports at the time of anyone who was involved being injured in the crash.

Several flatbed tow trucks were brought in and the highway reopened about 9:30 a.m., according to the department of transportation.
