Update: Police say Desiree Marshall has been found and is safe.

Kansas City police are asking the public to help find a missing 16-year-old last seen Wednesday night leaving Research Medical Center at 2316 E. Meyer Blvd.

Desiree Marshall, of Kansas City, was reported missing by police on Thursday night. She was last seen at the hospital on Wednesday around 8 p.m.

Police said Marshall is roughly 5-foot-2 and weighs about 110 pounds. She was wearing a black hooded jacket at the time she went missing.

Anyone with information regarding Marshall’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Missing Persons Unit at 816-234-5136.
