Police reunite child found alone Wednesday in Lenexa with family member
Update: Police said Wednesday evening that an adult family member of the child had been located.
Lenexa police are attempting to find the parents or guardians of a child found alone in a residential area on Wednesday afternoon.
Police found the child — whose name might be Brooke —around 4:15 p.m. in the 14000 block of W. 88th Terrace, the department said in a Twitter post.
Police are advising anyone who may be able to assist them to call dispatch at 913-477-7301.
