Winter storm closings: See which Kansas City area schools, services are closed for snow
The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning starting at 9 p.m. Wednesday until Friday at 6 a.m., and the Kansas City metro is anticipating 5 to 9 inches of snow.
Here are the schools and public services that have closed or canceled because of the weather in Johnson, Jackson and Wyandotte counties.

As of Wednesday evening, nearly two dozen area school districts put inclement weather plans in place that canceled classes, shut down facilities or switched to remote learning. Larger area districts with limited operations — or no school at all — included Kansas City, Kansas City, Kansas, and Olathe.
