One killed in Kansas City, Kansas crash involving two vehicles, according to police
One person was killed Friday evening in a fatal crash involving two vehicles in Kansas City, Kansas, according to police.
Police were called around 5 p.m. to the intersection of Kaw Drive and Swartz Road on a reported accident with injuries, officer Marshee London, a department spokeswoman, said in a statement. Officers arrived to find that the driver of one vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the person killed in the crash was not disclosed by police. The driver and a passenger from the other vehicle were taken to the hospital with injuries described by police as non-life-threatening.
Police did not immediately say what led to the crash. It remains under investigation by Kansas City, Kansas police.
