Original post:

Time for a caption contest, Kansas City.

After a winter storm dumped up to nine inches of snow on Kansas City Thursday, Star photographer Rich Sugg snapped this amazing picture of Manuel Palacio, who lives in the Argentine neighborhood in Kansas City, Kansas, snow blowing in his inflatable cow costume.

“I have a few elderly neighbors, so I might as well help them out a little bit,” Palacio said. He ordered the costume after seeing a TikTok video from a recent snow storm in New York, and just bought the snow blower at a nearby surplus shop.

OK, those are the facts. We want you to set those aside for a moment and give us your best caption for this snow day photo. Puns are highly encouraged but not required. Some examples include:

  • Snow remoooooval

  • How udderly delightful

  • I herd Kansas City got 9 inches of snow.

You get the idea.

Submit your caption ideas using the Google Form below. We’ll take stock of all your answers and post our favorites soon.
