Lee’s Summit man dies after single-vehicle crash near Springfield on Wednesday
A Lee’s Summit teenager died in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon near Springfield.
The victim has been identified as Alexander Reeds, 18, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 1:25 p.m. near the intersection of Farm Road 94 and Farm Road 47.
Police said a Honda CRV was driving westbound on Farm Road 94 when the vehicle drove off the right side of the road and struck a tree.
Reeds was pronounced dead at the scene.
