Crash leaves school bus sideways on Kansas City highway; injures reported
An injury crash during Wednesday morning’s rush hour left a school bus straddling the median of a Kansas City highway sideways.
Only one person was aboard the bus at the time of the wreck, according to a Kansas City Police Department dispatcher. The injuries were not serious.
The crash occurred about 7:20 a.m. on Missouri 350 highway just east of Interstate 435 in Kansas City.
Video from a Kansas City Scout traffic camera showed cars backed up in the area as traffic was limited to one lane as it passed the crash.
