Should Kansas City host the Republican National Convention in 2024? Vote in our poll
Kansas City is considering trying to host the 2024 Republican National Convention, according to the mayor’s office, and a group of representatives from Missouri was even in Washington D.C. this week to talk about the option.
This wouldn’t be the first time the city has tried to host the national convention in town. Kansas City lost a bid to host the RNC in 2016. Cleveland hosted the convention.
A lot has changed since then: in our country, in the party and right here in our city.
So we at The Star want to know, do you think it’s a good idea to host the RNC in KC in 2024?
Nothing is for sure yet, and the city has until Dec. 1 to formally apply. We’ll keep our eye on how things evolve, but first, we want to hear from you. Let us know what you think.
