Authorities find 4-year-old girl missing in Miami County
Update: Police say the girl has been found and is safe.
The Miami County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help with finding a missing 4-year-old girl last seen Thursday evening.
The sheriff’s office put out an alert on Facebook around 7 p.m. Thursday. The girl, whose name was not disclosed by police, was last seen around 6 p.m. near the area of 223rd Street and Cedar Niles Road. She was wearing blue jeans, a white shirt and pink shoes at the time, authorities said.
The girl stands approximately 4 feet tall and weighs about 40 pounds, according to police.
Police are asking anyone with information of her whereabouts to call 911.
