Victim in Kansas City motorcycle accident identified

Authorities identified the victim in a Tuesday fatal motorcycle accident on Interstate 435 as Richard K. Coram of Kansas City.

According to authorities, Coram, 67, came upon three highway maintenance trucks moving slowly on the interstate’s left shoulder as part of a median mowing operation near Front Street. Witnesses told a police accident investigator that Coram moved into the interstate’s middle lane to avoid the first two trucks but collided with the third truck.
