Driver reports being shot on Interstate 435
Police were investigating a shooting on Kansas City highway early Monday in which the victim said he was injured when someone pulled beside him and shot him.
The victim told police he was driving along Interstate 435 at Holmes Road about 12:35 a.m. when another vehicle pulled along side and someone from that vehicle shot him.
The victim drove to a fire station at 99th Street and Holmes for help. He was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
No suspect information was available.
