Child injured after being struck by vehicle in Kansas City Thursday evening
A child was injured after being struck by a vehicle Thursday evening in Kansas City.
The incident was reported after 7:30 p.m. on East Ninth Street near Norton Avenue.
A vehicle struck a child who ran into the street, according to Capt. David Jackson, a Kansas City police spokesman.
The child was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening, Jackson said.
The crash investigation was ongoing.
