One person died Friday after a head-on crash at 84th Street and Wornall Road, police said.
Kansas City Police responded to the crash just before 8 a.m. Friday. A Buick sedan, which was determined to be driving on the wrong side of the road, collided head-on into a Chevrolet van, according to an email from Kansas City Police Department Spokesman Jacob Becchina.
The driver of the Buick was transported to the hospital and died from his injuries around 5:30 p.m. Friday, Becchina said.
The driver of the Chevrolet, police said, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
