Eastbound I-70 shut down for wreck near I-435 in Kansas City, Kansas
Eastbound Interstate 70 was shut down near Interstate 435 in Kansas City, Kansas, after a wreck about 1:35 p.m. Wednesday, according to police.
Vehicles were backed up along the interstate near the crash scene. It was unclear how long the closure would last, according to the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
The Kansas Highway Patrol was at the scene of the wreck.
