Crews battling large fire in Grain Valley

A fire at a truck repair shop in Grain Valley is sending huge plumes of black smoke into the air.

The Central Jackson County Fire Protection District got the call about 7 p.m. and was still battling the large blaze on Eagles Parkway an hour later. There are no known injuries. The cause of the fire is undetermined.
