Two adults, one juvenile dead in house fire Monday morning in KCK

Three people, including two adults and a juvenile, were dead Monday morning in a house fire in Kansas City, Kansas, according to officials.

The fire was reported about 4:35 a.m. at a home near North Mill Street and Ridge Avenue.

Kansas City, Kansas, Fire Department crews found smoke coming from the attic and flames on the second floor of the house.

Fire crews found the bodies of the three victims while searching the residence, according to a statement from the fire department. The names and ages of the victims were not immediately available.

Fire officials began an investigation and notified police of the deaths. The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department was also investigating.
