Fire damages Lenexa home; firefighter injured
A firefighter was hurt early Sunday morning while battling a house fire in Lenexa.
In a tweet, Lenexa fire chief Dan Rhodus said the fireman, not yet identified, was injured after responding to a pre-dawn blaze at 91st Street and Falcon Ridge Drive.

— Dan Rhodus (@LenexaFireChief) June 7, 2015A house at that location was “well involved” in flames, Rhodus said. The home appeared to be unoccupied, and there were no reports of other injuries.
It isn’t yet known what caused the fireman’s injuries, or if they’re considered serious. He was taken to a hospital.
The fire was put out Sunday morning. The cause, and any estimates of damage, were not immediately available.
