Olathe spelling bee winner to appear on national television show Monday

Thirteen-year-old Vanya Shivashankar of Olathe, co-champion of the 2015 Scripps Spelling Bee on Thursday, will appear with the other winner on “Live with Kelly and Michael” on ABC on Monday.

The two winners will take on hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan in a spelling contest.
