Lee’s Summit woman killed in traffic crash near Lone Jack

A 25-year-old Lee’s Summit woman was killed in a Tuesday morning traffic crash near Lone Jack.

The Missouri Highway Patrol identified the victim as Victoria R. Moore.

According to the patrol, Moore was eastbound on U.S. 50 when her car struck a tractor trailer as it crossed the highway just east of Sam Moore Road about 7:45 a.m.

The truck driver, a 40-year-old Texas man, was not injured.
