Kansas City woman is victim of fatal Northland accident
Kansas City police on Sunday identified the victim of a fatal accident that occurred late Friday night in the Northland.
Police said 25-year-old Danica O’Dell of Kansas City died as the result of a collision at about 11:15 p.m. at Missouri 210 and Northeast Norfleet Road.
Police said O’Dell was driving a Cadillac Escalade east on Missouri 210 and drove into the back of a FedEx semi truck pulling two trailers. The semi was slowing to a stop at the red traffic control signal at the intersection of Northeast Norfleet Road. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The semi driver was not injured.
