Fatal wreck on The Paseo in KC leaves 1 dead, 3 injured, sends Toyota into front porch

A fatal traffic wreck near 45th Street and The Paseo early Sunday morning in Kansas City left one person dead and three injured.

The crash occurred about 12:15 a.m. when a Ford SUV traveling east collided with a southbound Toyota sedan. The impact sent the Toyota spiraling into the front porch of a nearby house.

A male passenger of the Toyota died after being taken to a hospital. Police identified him as 28-year-old Dentea Hall of Kansas City. A female passenger was in serious condition.

A female passenger of the Ford was in critical condition at a hospital.

The male driver of the Ford was injured and was listed as being in stable condition.
