The body of a Kansas City, Kan., man missing since early July has been found, police said Tuesday.

The body of 74-year-old Jesus Gonzalez was found Saturday in the 3200 block of North 38th Street, which is less than a half mile from where he had last been seen.

No foul play was suspected in his death, police said.

Gonzalez was last seen leaving a house in the 3000 block of North 34th Street on July 4th. He had dementia and other medical conditions that required continuous medication. Rescue and search teams looked for him in a few areas in the city on July 16, but were unsuccessful.

On Saturday, police responding to reports of a dead body found the human remains, which were later identified as Gonzalez.
