Pedestrian struck, killed on I-635 in Riverside

A pedestrian was struck and killed early Friday along southbound Interstate 635 near the Argosy Casino in Riverside.

The fatal crash happened about 3:45 a.m. between Missouri 9 and U.S. 69, according to media reports.

Southbound I-635 was closed while authorities investigated the crash. It reopened shortly before 6 a.m., according to the Kansas City Scout system.
